    IEP Meetings

Beginning in 8th grade, the Learning Support students will be invited to attend their Individualized Education Program meeting.  They are encouraged to understand their disability and be able to self-advocate for their learning needs.

At the IEP meeting, the team will use the student’s post secondary plan to drive the goals and objectives.

While most 8th graders are unsure of their career goals for after high school, it is important to begin to discuss how their courses at the high school should match their post-secondary plan.
