•  I was born in Patuxtent, MD and grew up in Bainbridge, Pa with a younger sister and brother.  I spent some of my grade school years in Oklahoma City as my father worked for the FAA.  I graduated from Elizabethtown High School, attended Messiah College, and received my Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Millersville University.  May of 2004, I earned a Master’s Degree in Science Education at Lebanon Valley College.  Since then, I've taken many continuing education courses for refreshers, enrichment, new knowledge, ACT 48, and because many of them sounded like fun.

I've been enjoying the sixth graders here at Hershey Middle School since 1992, and I find that each year brings new joys with this age group.  I have taught a wide array of subjects over the years, but I've found that I love to teach science most of all.
I currently live in Middletown with my husband Mark and my daughters, Kelly and Erin. My family, immediate and extended, is very important to me and I enjoy spending quality time with them.
