    • Drafted by Detroit Tigers and played 6 years in the system

    • First State Wrestling Champion at Hershey High School in 1973
    • Won 4 Varsity letters in Wrestling at Lehigh University- 1973-74, 1974-75, 1975-76, 1976-1977
    • 3 time E.I.W.A Champion:  1974-75, 1975-96, 1976-77
    • Finished 3rd in NCAA Tournament in 1977

    CAROL BACKENSTOSE MILLER - CLASS OF 1971

    • Earned 4 Varsity Letters in Tennis - 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971
    • Compiled a HHS career record of 43-1 in tennis matches while completing in the first position
    • Won 100 matches in Central Penn and Middle States tennis tournaments
    • Earned 4 Varsity letters in Tennis at Penn State University while competing in the first position attaining a record of 22-6
    • Attained a Singles ranking of #3 in the Middle States Tennis Assn. And a national #51 ranking in the United States Lawn Tennis Association, 1971
