     World Almanac The World Almanac for Kids Online provides quick, up to date facts related to animals, American and World history, careers, states, countries, famous people, geography, science, space, presidents - and lots more! A calendar tells what happened each day in sports and history, and there is a great video and photo gallery, too!

    World Book Online

     World Book Kids is a general reference database developed especially for Elementary users. This site offers easy-to-read articles, thousands of illustrations and photographs, and a variety of brief video clips. Geared toward Intermediate/Middle School students, World Book Student articles contain more in-depth content.

    Pebble Go

    Pebble Go is an award winning database featuring information related to Animals, Earth & Space, Biographies, and  Social Studies.  Video and audio clips accompany the articles, and students can opt to have the text read aloud to them.

    Pebble Go Next for students in grades 3-6, Pebble Go Next offers many exciting research opportunities.  Features include highlighting, read-along audio, and downloadable questions.  Article topics focus upon Science, States, and American Indians.     The TumbleBookLibrary is a unique online collection of animated, talking picture books, related TumblePuzzles, and TumbleQuizzes, as well as TumbleResources for Teachers. The collection includes many titles by well known children's authors. There is a growing collection in Spanish & French.

    CyberBee is a valuable tool for educators, offering a variety of Internet resources, lessons, and related projects.All content is free with proper attribution. Another feature of this site includes photographs from the National Parks. This site also offers information about copyright issues and offers an interactive lesson about copyright infringement

This resource provides access to thousands of articles, newspapers, and photographs about a wide range of subjects that appeal to elementary and middle school students. POWER Kids offers eBooks and movies, and kids can even chat with a librarian!

    Hershey Public Library

    Visit the Hershey Public Library web site and you can link to Pennsylvania POWER LIBRARY with access to online databases such as SIRS Discoverer. You will need your public library card number for access.
