• Class of 2019: Scholarship Opportunities

    Below is a list of some of the scholarship opportunities offered to HHS seniors. There is a more detailed description of each scholarship in Naviance.

    Naviance: The listing of scholarships on Naviance is offered as a service to the students and parents of Hershey High School and is not an endorsement of the programs by the Derry Township School District or Hershey High School. Guest access will allow you to view the scholarships posted by our Counseling Office and to link to the websites and online applications for the individual scholarships. To log in to Naviance as a Guest, enter gotrojans as the password and select Enter as guest. Click on the Colleges tab and scroll down to scholarship listing.

    Abbott & Fenner Scholarship: $1,000

    • Deadline: June 14, 2019
    • Eligibility: Must write a 500-1000 word essay on the topic below. Submissions must be sent by email to scholarshipsatabbottandfenner.com
      • Describe your educational career and life goals. Explain your plan for achieving these goals. Include your degree/major, why you selected it, and how this degree/major will help you achieve goals.

    Brownstone Masonic Scholarship: up to $1,000

    • Deadline: April 30, 2019
    • Eligibility: Awarded to those who meet the necessary criteria; community service, financial need, and academic promise and properly complete the application.

    Irvin E. Herr Scholarship: up to $1,750

    • Deadline: May 1, 2019
    • Eligibility: Seniors residing in Dauphin, Cumberland, Perry, and Northumberland counties. Immediate family members of Wilmington Trust Bank are not eligible.

    National Federation of the Blind Scholarship: $1,000

    • Deadline: August 31, 2019
    • Eligibility: Any legally blind high school senior who is planning to attend college in the Fall of 2019

    PA Army National Guard Minuteman Scholarship: 4-year full ride to any PA college that offers an ROTC Program

    • Deadline: Please contact SFC Jason Taylor ASAP to start the application (email: jason.a.taylor2.mil@mail.mil). All materials will need to be submitted before the end of April 2019.
    • Eligibility: Seniors looking to go to college and would like to see about ROTC paths for military service.

    Road to Safety Scholarship: $1,000

    • Deadline: May 10, 2019
    • Eligibility: Open to graduating, college-bound high school seniors who reside in PA.

    Scott & Hoffnagle Scholarship: up to $7,500

    • Deadline: May 17, 2019
    • Eligibility: Student must attend a college, university, or trade school within a 50 mile radius of Leola, PA, or a 25 mile radius of Wilmington, DE. Student must also have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
