    What is Occupational Therapy?

Occupational Therapy uses purposeful activities to develop or restore functional skills needed to complete daily activities. I work with students in grades K-12 to support students with an identified need. I have offices in the Elementary School (in the Student Service Suite) and in the Early Childhood Center (Room 26).

In a school setting, an occupational therapist collaborates with teachers, families and other team members to support a student's participation in functional and school activities.  Occupational Therapy services can be provided directly with students and/or through a consultation/collaboration model.
