The Derry Township Environmental Education Retreat is an outdoor education program for sixth graders from Hershey Middle School. Students will participate in a 2-½ day overnight excursion to Camp Kenbrook in Lebanon. Their schedule is rigorous, educational, and fun. It is filled with opportunity for learning about the environment, teamwork, and themselves as well.

Chaperones will be selected by the end of December, and will be notified by email of their status as a DEER chaperone.If you are interested in chaperoning, please visit the site below and complete the following online form. CHAPERONE FORMBear in mind that all adults going out to camp with us will need to have the submit the appropriate paperwork to Angie Cooney (534-2501 ext 3290) at the District Office. The appropriate paperwork includes the following: Volunteer registration, TB test, PA State Police Request for Criminal Record Certification, FBI Fingerprint Certification, Child Abuse Certification, and Mandated Reporter Certification which can all be found at the following link; VOLUNTEER FORMS.
