Technology – 1. Human innovation in action that involves the generation of knowledge and processes to develop systems that solve problems and extend human capabilities. 2. The innovation, change or modification of the natural environment to satisfy perceived human needs and wants.
Technology Education – A study of technology, which provides an opportunity for students to learn about processes and knowledge related to technology that are needed to solve problems and extend human capabilities.
Course Overview
The activities within Communication Principles are designed to engage the students in a variety of methods in which information is exchanged. We use communication in order to express ideas and direct our senses. Much of the activities involve using different communicative mediums to promote a product. As a result the students mimic the techniques used in a variety of industries. The core subjects that are focused on in this class include Language Arts skills.
