Meet the Director of Safe and Supportive Schools

Lisa M. Sviben Miller received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University and her Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Towson University. Lisa has specialized in working with children and adolescents in a treatment setting as well as within the school setting.
She was a Commonwealth Approved Training provider for the Student Assistance Program and was the President/CEO of the PA Association of Student Assistance Professionals (PASAP). She is trained and certified as an instructor for Safe Crisis Management, the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program, the Second Step Violence Prevention Program, CPR/AED/First Aid, and various other programs.
In her current role, she coordinates the Student Assistance Programs K-12, Violence Prevention, Crisis Management, Employee Assistance Program, the Incident Response Team as well as Safe and Supportive Schools efforts for the District.
Lisa is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Association of Challenge Course Technology (ACCT).
