Focus: Buildings and grounds, maintenance, construction and renovation, capital projects, transportation, and food services
- Building off of the
planning work conducted during the previous school year, the
Committee will review and guide the administration's efforts to prepare an all
new five-year Capital Improvement Plan – a plan that will not only be used
internally, but also for communicating with the Derry Township
community the District's plans for capital maintenance, replacement, and improvements
to its buildings, grounds, and vehicle fleet.
- Consider options for
initiating a commercial partnership and sponsorship program.
- Review administration
plans for capital projects, and so far this year, those projects include a
school bus snow scraper system, initial acquisition of propane-fueled school
buses, and roof testing and surveys of the Elementary School and Early
Childhood Center.
