Hello! I am a first grade teacher at Derry Township School District. I have been teaching first grade since 1996. I graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I completed my student teaching at Hershey. Upon college graduation, Derry Township offered me a long term substitute position in first grade. I was a long term substitute for 1 1/2 years in first grade, then obtained a contracted first grade position. I continue to teach 1st grade and love it!!!

 

I married my husband, Matthew in June, 2004. I have a son named Garrett and a daughter named Emma.  I'm very blessed to have such a wonderful, loving, and healthy family! 

 

Teaching first grade is a true joy for me.  Each year is a new adventure and is filled with many successes.
