End of Year Student Meal Account Balances

We are about to close out another school year at DTSD and we know that everyone is busy at this time of year! We want to help you avoid last-week surprises and make your transition to summer as smooth as possible. 

Before the final bell rings, our Food Service Department want to share a few things to take care of to end the year on a positive note.

Check your SchoolCafé account balance 
🔸Low or Negative Balance? Please add a payment to avoid those letter and email reminders. If your family is experiencing financial difficulties, please contact our office (717-531-2217) to review steps for receiving assistance to pay off balances.
🔸Positive Balance? Great news! Positive balances for underclassmen will carry over for the next school year. (That’s one less thing you have to do!) 
🔸Graduating Senior or leaving the District? Here are some ways you can close out your child’s account: 
🔹Transfer the balance of graduating seniors to a sibling account in the school district 
🔹Request a refund by going to SchoolCafé. 
🔹Donate the balance to help cover meals for students in need 

❗️Please make sure you disable any automatic payments you may have set up in SchoolCafé before you donate, transfer to another account, or request a refund.
