    COVID-19 UPDATE

Effective March 30, 2020 Derry Township School District is beginning remote instruction for students. Occupational therapy services are being provided during this time according to the needs of each student.

My office hours are scheduled through Zoom for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30-11:30. To join a Zoom meeting during my office hours, please send me an email and I will share the web link.

    What is Occupational Therapy?

Occupational Therapy uses purposeful activities to develop or restore functional skills needed to complete daily activities. I work with students in grades K-12 to support students with an identified need. I have offices in the Elementary School (in the Student Service Suite) and in the Early Childhood Center (Room 1).

In a school setting, an occupational therapist collaborates with teachers, families and other team members to support a student's participation in functional and school activities.  Occupational Therapy services can be provided directly with students and/or through a consultation/collaboration model.
