Our program’s mission and visionary path is underpinned with a philosophy where competition of sport provides for enhanced learning through teachings of purpose, positive attitude, commitment, TEAM, responsibility, accountability, discipline, sportsmanship, communication and strength with collaboration. The Core Values provide pillars to build opportunities for all TEAM Members to maximize their experience for self-improvement, developing new skills, being committed to a greater-good, serving others through community in striving to achieve a level of sustained excellence that will serve them in the future.

Mission:

The Hershey Girls Basketball program experience will serve as a vehicle to advance the playing field for girls that empowers the individual through competitive TEAM sport. The program will supplement academic and real-world experienced-based learning through an environment designed to promote necessary educational life principles, reinforced by the spirit of competitive performance.

Vision:

A program that provides an environment-structure to accelerate leadership development. The program will provide a competitively challenging environment for its’ TEAM Members; whereby providing opportunities for girls to build self-esteem, courage and self-awareness through their preparation of consistently positive and lifelong good habits through competition.
