    Title IX graphic Title IX Overview

     Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (Title IX) prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in all federally assisted education programs and activities, including interscholastic and co-curricular athletics. It is the policy of the Derry Township School District to offer opportunities for participation in interscholastic and co-curricular athletic programs to male and female students on an equal basis and in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations. Title IX further prohibits discrimination and harassment based on sex.

    For more information regarding Title IX or to report a violation or file a complaint, please contact the District's Title IX Coordinator. The Title IX Coordinator is responsible for handling complaints of sex discrimination and sexual harassment.
