Enrolling in Derry Township School District
Enrollment in Derry Township School District is limited to bona fide residents of Derry Township. The district does not accept non-resident tuition students. Parents or guardians who wish to enroll students in the district should establish residency prior to initiating registration. Establishing residency does not mean you must be fully moved in – a signed lease or a settlement/sales agreement can provide you with the documentation you should have when contacting the district registrar. New student enrollment is a two-part process that includes online pre-registration followed by a registration appointment with a district representative.
Parents or guardians are to register students at the school currently assigned to the address where the child's parent or guardian resides. Parents may check the PA Department of Community & Economic Development Municipal Statistics to see which school they are assigned to per their address:

To ensure your student can begin school on the first day for the 2026-2027 school year, all required registration documents must be submitted and verified by the Registrar no later than 12:00 p.m. on August 17, 2026. Students with complete and verified registrations by this deadline will be scheduled to start school on August 24, 2026.
Registrations received after this deadline, or registrations with missing documentation, will still be processed as quickly as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that students will be able to begin school on the first day.
