Dr. Stacy Winslow was appointed Superintendent at the May 24, 2021 School Board Meeting. Dr. Winslow began her tenure as Assistant to the Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment with the start of the 2014-2015 School Year
Previously, she was principal at Hershey Middle School for two years. Winslow spent 20 years at Manheim Township School District where she taught Middle School and High School Social Studies before moving into administration. Since coming to Derry Township, Winslow has been focused on meeting students’ needs through differentiated professional learning, with an emphasis on a district conference experience and instructional coaching. Winslow is passionate about curriculum and the power it has to level the playing field and enrich the learning opportunities presented to students.
Winslow holds a bachelor's degree in Social Studies Education from Elizabethtown College and a Masters Degree in Teaching and Curriculum from Penn State University. Winslow completed her doctoral program in Educational Leadership in January of 2010 from Immaculata University. Winslow is married and has two daughters.
Dr. Jason Reifsnyder joined the district as the Assistant to the Superintendent for Personnel and Student Support Services in August of 2013.
Dr. Reifsnyder holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Agricultural Education from Penn State University. He also obtained his K-12 principal’s certification from Immaculata University.
Reifsnyder began his teaching career at Garden Spot High School where he taught various science and agricultural classes for eight years. He was an assistant principal at Eastern Lebanon County Middle School and Manheim Township Middle School for 4 years. He most recently served as a building level principal for 4 years in the Manheim Township School District the last 3 years at Manheim Township Middle School. Reifsnyder is married and has two sons.
Dr. Aaron Shuman transitioned from Assistant Principal at Hershey Middle School to the Assistant to the Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment position at the August 23, 2021 Board of Directors Meeting. Dr. Shuman began his teaching career in 1998 at Hatboro-Horsham High School in suburban Philadelphia.
During his time at Hatboro-Horsham he taught computer science, coached swimming, and sponsored a robotics club. In 2005 he moved to DTSD as a middle school assistant principal.
Dr. Shuman holds Bachelor’s Degree in Business Education from Shippensburg University and a Masters Degree in Educational Administration from Temple University. He completed his Doctoral program at Temple University in 2010. Dr. Shuman is married with two children.
