Athletic ExamsOverviewAll students interested in going out for a district-sponsored sport team are required to complete a Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association Comprehensive Initial Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation. Physical must be dated on or after June 1, 2020. No sports physicals will be given at the school before the winter and spring seasons. Completing the physical is the responsibility of the student athlete and not that of the district. The Comprehensive Initial Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation should be completed after June 1 for the first season of competition in the new athletic year. All subsequent sport seasons in an athletic year require a PIAA Section 7 re-certification, signed by a parent. If a student-athlete sustained an injury after the physical was competed, they must have a Section 7 as well as Section 8, signed by the doctor to participate.______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
