Pre-Payment Options

SchoolCafé Payment System

At the time of enrollment, students are given a student ID number and are automatically set up with a School Meals account. Students access their School Meals account using their student ID to pay for their breakfast, lunch & à la carte purchases.

Parents have several options to fund their child’s School Meals account.

Cash or Check – Incur No Fee. Payments may be made by check or cash directly at your child's school site or mailed to D.T.S.D. Food Service, 30 E. Granada Avenue, Hershey PA 17033.

  • Personal Check: When writing a check, please make it payable to D.T.S.D. Food Service. To ensure proper credit, include your child's name & student ID number on your check.  Checks are deposited into your child's account the same day it is received.
  • Cash: Although we accept cash, checks are more secure. Cash money should not be dropped off at the school office. If you must send cash with your child, please place it in a sealed envelope and write your child's complete name, student ID number, grade, and amount enclosed on the envelope. All cash money should be hand-delivered directly to a Food Service employee.
