Anna Gawel Named Pennsylvania’s 2023 Outstanding Assistant Principal
03/29/2023 - Anna L. Gawel, Assistant Principal of Hershey Elementary School (4th and 5th grades) in the Derry Township School District, has been named Pennsylvania’s 2023 Outstanding Assistant Principal of the Year by the Pennsylvania Principals Association. As a state winner in the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) National Outstanding Assistant Principal (NOAP) of the Year Program, Mrs. Gawel is eligible for consideration to be named the NAESP National Outstanding Assistant Principal of the Year.

Community Forum w/ Dr. Winslow
03/23/23 - DTSD would like to invite Derry Township parents and residents to participate in a round table discussion between the community and our superintendent, Dr. Winslow. This will be a series of open forums to discuss important topics surrounding the community and school district. The third in the 2022-2023 series will be regarding the science of reading.
