2023-2026 Special Education Plan
03/13/2023 - The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) requires school districts to submit a Special Education Plan every 3 years to PDE as required under 22 PA Code 14.104. This plan is an action plan for the a three year time period and is developed to ensure that students receive appropriate, effective, and compliant special education services. Our district’s special education plan is due this spring. It requires information about state performance indicators and how we as a district ensure they occur. It also outlines all special education related positions, whether they are contracted or DTSD employees, and the training areas we must address as determined by the Department of Education.

Request for Proposal for Architectural Services
03/01/2023 - The Derry Township School District is seeking proposals (RFP) for Architectural Services for an elementary school construction project. The anticipated award date is April 24, 2023. The RFP is posted on the District website https://www.hershey.k12.pa.us or can be obtained by contacting Sheryl Pursel, Business Manager at spursel@hershey.k12.pa.us. The deadline to submit a proposal is Monday, March 27, 2023 by 10:00 a.m. eastern standard time.
