At its June 22, 2020 business meeting, the DTSD Board of School Directors voted to approve the $65.8 million budget for the 2020-2021 school year that freezes property taxes. This 2020-2021 Budget will continue the financial support for all current educational and co-curricular/athletics programs.

Under this budget, a Derry Township property with an assessed value of $150,000 (the township average) will be taxed at $2,819.37. Assessed value is the taxable worth of a home, and is usually much lower than the market value, which is the projected re-sale price of a property.
